Mr. Abernethy has held senior executive positions in a variety of public and private companies in defense, technology, business services and publishing industries.  He has served as CFO of Logos Technologies, LLC, a defense contractor, Clean Urban Energy, a Chicago-based clean-tech engery start-up and has taken active roles with many of Dunrath's portfolio companies.  Earlier in his career he served as CFO of APAC Customer Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: APAC), Executive Vice President and CFO of Commerce Clearing House, Inc. (NASDAQ: CCH) and was an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

He is active in the private equity industry as a founding board member of the Midwest Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association and on financial subcommittees with the Illinois Venture Capital Association.

Mr. Abernethy is a CPA and holds a BS Cum Laude in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
