John Cochran
Mr. Cochran's 16 years of experience in the investment industry has primarily been focused in the private equity, venture capital and hedge fund arenas. Mr. Cochran is a Partner at Bratton Capital Management, which serves as the investment management advisor for Edward P. Bass of the Texas-based Bass family. Mr. Cochran also acts as the CFO of Crestline Investors, Inc., which manages a family of absolute return hedge fund of funds. His responsibilities include analyzing opportunities, performing due diligence and monitoring private equity and venture capital investments. He has also been responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of Bratton Capital Management and Crestline Investors since joining the firm in October 1998. Previously, Mr. Cochran spent 10 years with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, working with a wide array of LBO funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, investment companies, venture capital groups and broker dealers. Mr. Cochran is a CPA and earned a BBA in Accounting from Texas Christian University in 1989.
Honorable Robert C. McCormack
Mr. McCormack is a founder, chairman, and advisory director of Trident Capital. From 1968 to 1987, Mr. McCormack was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley & Co., and earlier, a Senior Vice President with Dillon Read & Co. Mr. McCormack served as the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Navy (Financial Management) and Comptroller of the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1993. From 1987 to 1990, he held several senior positions in the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Washington, D.C. Mr. McCormack currently serves on the boards of Derivatech, DeVry, Inc. (NASDAQ: DV), Illinois Tool Works, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITW), Meadwestvaco (NASDAQ: MWV), The Northern Trust Corporation (NASDAQ: NTRS) and the Revere Group, Ltd. Mr. McCormack earned his BA from the University of North Carolina and his MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. Mr. McCormack served in the U.S. Navy.
Myron Lieberman
Mr. Lieberman is presently Of Counsel to Greenberg Traurig, the eighth largest US law firm. Previously, Mr. Lieberman was co-chairman of Altheimer & Gray. He has conducted a myriad sophisticated corporate and buy-out transactions during his forty-year career, including the multi-billion dollar buy-out of Montgomery Ward from Mobile Oil and the buy-out of Budget Rent-A-Car from Ford Motor Company. Mr. Lieberman was also the long-standing counsel for Columbia National Bank (sold to ABN AMRO) and MidTown Bank (sold to MAF Bancorp). He served on the boards of directors of both banks. Mr. Lieberman received a BS from Stanford University and a LLB from Northwestern University of Law, where he received the Order of the Coif and was on the Law Review.
